The San Francisco 49ers released their inactives for Week 10 vs. the New York Giants, and there are no real surprises tonight. The team ruled Reuben Foster, Jaquiski Tartt, and Pierre Garçon out on Saturday, and the remaining four healthy scratches are about what you would expect.
The team will have Nick Mullens starting at quarterback, with C.J. Beathard as his backup. That leaves Tom Savage inactive for the second time in three weeks. Normally he’s just not on the roster by game day.
With Garçon’s absence, Kendrick Bourne will likely get the start opposite Marquise Goodwin. Trent Taylor is active this week after being inactive last week. Taylor has been dealing with a back injury but was not on the injury report prior to his deactivation. He and Richie James will likely split some time in the slot.
