The San Francisco 49ers are offering assistance to the communities devastated by the Camp Fire in Northern California, and on Monday, that included inviting the Paradise High School football team. The fires burned down much of Paradise, California, leaving many of the players on the team without a home. Additionally, they had to forfeit a playoff game last week.
The 49ers brought down the team for their Week 10 Monday Night Football contest against the New York Giants. General manager John Lynch met with the team before the game, and invited them to stand on the field with the players during the playing of the National Anthem. Here’s some video of Lynch meeting with the students.
