Last Sunday, Frank Gore set an NFL record when he became the first player to rush for at least 500 yards in each of 14 consecutive seasons. A couple days later, his former head coach Jim Harbaugh offered congratulations and called Gore his favorite player he has ever coached.
The compliments have been rolling in, and on Wednesday, Gore’s former teammate Joe Staley called him his favorite player in the history of the world.

Gore offered a similar response to Staley earlier today.

Gore and the Dolphins have a bye this weekend, so we won’t get to see him continue his march up the rushing yards and yards from scrimmage leaderboards. But man, all this brings back a flood of memories!
