We’re back to close out today with Week 12 Sunday Night Football. The Minnesota Vikings host the Green Bay Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium, with kickoff set for 5:20 p.m. PT on NBC. Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth are calling the game from the booth, and Michele Tafoya is handling sideline duties.
This is a huge one in the NFC North, with both teams trying to hang with the Chicago Bears. This is effectively a divisional elimination game for the Packers, who sit at 4-5-1. They would remain plenty alive in the wild card chase, with the 5-4-1 Vikings leading the way, and Washington, Carolina, and Seattle tied at 6-5. A loss would put the Vikings in a tough spot in the NFC North, but again, they would remain in the thick of the wild card race.
The Vikings opened as a 5.5-point favorite, but the line has come down to 3.5 points, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark. I took the Packers in the SuperContest, and will stick with them. It’s a tough game, but I think it comes down to the wire.
