So, I’m guessing everyone has seen or heard the news on Reuben Foster being shown the door. Believe me, the night it happened was not fun. I was in an Uber on my way home when I read the news. The Uber was going to a grocery store so I could get some food. Once I saw the news. I got out and wind sprinted a mile and a half back to my apartment so I could go to work on following Twitter.
As for the action itself, I’m really not going to give my opinions on it other than that if the 49ers were to make this decision at that position in the draft again, I’d do it in a heartbeat. It was a great pick, it just didn’t work out. It was bad luck. Teams wanted Foster, the Saints were on the phone with him—it just didn’t work out.
It sucks, but we can’t pin this on the organization. At the time the pick was made, we were going nuts over this. It simply didn’t work out.
