Who would have thought last summer that we would be going into Sunday’s game against Seattle as a big underdog? We were the team on its way up while Seattle seemed like the team that was on its way down. We had the quarterback, the new running back, we even had Richard Sherman. Ahkello Witherspoon and Adrian Colbert were looking like pretty promising young players. What could possibly go wrong?
Here we are, Garoppolo and McKinnon have been on IR for most of the season, Witherspoon and Colbert have been disappointments and we don’t even want to talk about that Foster guy. We are no longer holding our breath on Solomon Thomas either.
I don’t know about anyone else but I feel like watching the 49ers game Sunday should be about as fun fun as going to the dentist. At least they numb you when you go to the dentist. I will definitely be watching though. Hopefully it won’t be too painful and there is that number one draft pick carrot hanging just out of reach.
