The San Francisco 49ers had some offensive question marks heading into Sunday’s Week 15 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks, but it appears most of the questions will be answered. Running back Matt Breida and wide receivers Marquise Goodwin and Dante Pettis were all listed as questionable, but all are expected to play, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Breida sat out last week’s game after aggravating an ankle injury that has plagued him much of the season. He was listed as limited all week, but head coach Kyle Shanahan felt good he would play vs. the Seahawks. Jeff Wilson started in his place last week, and has looked solid. Breida might get the majority of touches, but look for Wilson to be plenty busy.
Goodwin (calf) and Pettis (foot) were both added to the injury report on Thursday as limited. There has been no clarification on their respective injuries, but hopefully it’s just some late season wear-and-tear. Last week, Pettis started opposite Kendrick Bourne, with Goodwin coming off the bench in his first game back after dealing with some family issues. With a second week back, it will be interesting to see how much work Goodwin gets compared to Pettis.
