The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks released their inactives for Week 15, and things are about as expected. Most notably, nickel back K’Waun Williams is inactive for a second straight week due to a knee injury. With him and Jaquiski Tartt sidelined, this means D.J. Reed will start at nickel back, Antone Exum will start at free safety, and Marcell Harris will start at strong safety.
The 49ers welcome back Matt Breida after he missed a game due to aggravating his ankle injury. He will join Jeff Wilson in the backfield, offering some considerable depth to the 49ers ground game.
Sheldon Day is inactive once again, which should mean another opportunity for Solomon Thomas on the defensive interior.
