49ers-Seahawks final score

That went pretty badly. The 49ers lost 43-16, falling behind early and never able to get particularly close. The 49ers got some highlights from Dante Pettis (129 yards, two touchdowns), Jeff Wilson (134 total yards), and DeForest Buckner (2 sacks), but they drop to 2-10 with the loss.

Preview

Finally, the San Francisco 49ers will face the Seattle Seahawks for the first time this year. The 49ers and Seahawks are on opposite ends of the spectrum with the Seahawks fighting for a playoff spot while the 49ers are in contention for the first pick in the 2019 NFL draft. This was originally planned as a Sunday Night Football game mostly because of Richard Sherman’s return to CenturyLink, however given the 49ers weak record, it was flexed out. It isn’t going to be a pretty game and the 49ers enter this game as 10-point underdogs. This will be an afternoon game kicking off at 1:25 PM. The game will air on FOX and you can see who gets it by looking at our broadcast map. Dick Stockton, Mark Schlereth will be calling the game.

The 49ers got their heads kicked in by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, notching only nine points while letting turnover machine Jameis Winston look like an all-star quarterback. The loss sets them back further as a top-five pick seems like a reality. They couldn’t do anything last Sunday with only the running game being free of any blame at all. Nick Mullens will again get the start, though it seems like patience with him is already wearing thin.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks have come off an impressive win against the Carolina Panthers. A cross-country win that lead to victory via the Russell Wilson special. The Seahawks are looking to nab a wildcard spot and are firm in the hunt. There’s been some choice words from Sherman towards his former teammates as well to add to the narrative.

For Week 13, the Seahawks will be without running back C.J. Prosise and linebacker K.J. Wright. Safety Shalom Luani and running back Tre Madden are doubtful.

The 49ers meanwhile will be without wide receivers Pierre Garçon, Marquest Goodwin and offensive guard Joshua Garnett. Safety D.J. Reed is also out.
