The San Francisco 49ers defense stepped up in a big way in Week 15, containing Russell Wilson and shutting down the Seattle Seahawks offense in the fourth quarter and overtime — when it mattered most.

Chris Carson had a big day, rushing for 119 yards while averaging 5.4 yards per carry. Normally that would be disheartening, but the 49ers defense did enough at critical moments that it did not cost them the game. Most notably, DeForest Buckner had his way with the Seahawks offensive line, sacking Wilson two times, and leading the team with 11 tackles and four tackles for a loss.

Earlier this week Ricky had a photo gallery of the offense, which you can enjoy here. Enjoy this photo gallery of the defense!
