Can Nick Mullens make it three in a row against the Bears and Vic Fangio’s tough defense? The odds may be against it but it would sure be fun to watch. A couple of dropped passes last week kept Mullens from recording his third straight three hundred yard game. I personally think he is going to surprise everyone and have another three hundred yard passing game this week and I am expecting George Kittle to “bear” much of the burden.
Perhaps this is the week that the elusive turnover door will open up for the 49ers defense? We can use all of the help we can get. A couple of interceptions and a fumble recovery would make things a whole lot easier for us. It is about time the ball started to bounce our way. I would sure like to see Armstead and Buckner get some sacks while we are at it.
Oh wait! Are we supposed to be tanking? How completely boring is that?
