Broncos-Raiders closes out the week with Monday Night Football

The NFL closes out Week 16 on Christmas Eve with a Monday Night Football matchup featuring division rivals playing for pride. The Oakland Raiders host the Denver Broncos with kickoff set for 5:15 p.m. PT on ESPN. Joe Tessitore and Jason Witten will call the game from the booth, with Booger McFarland serving as an analyst from the field. Lisa Salters continues her duties as the sideline reporter.

This could be the final football game played at the Oakland Coliseum. The Raiders aren’t moving to Las Vegas until 2020, but they don’t have a lease for 2019 and are currently being sued by the city of Oakland. The Raiders have spoken to the San Francisco Giants about renting AT&T Park next season, but even if that does not work out, odds are long that they play another game at the Coliseum.

The Broncos are a three-point favorite over the Raiders, according to sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark. Both teams stink, and given that plus the potential emotions at what could be the Coliseum’s final football game, I’m taking the points with Oakland!
