The San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams have wrapped up practice for Week 17, and we’ve got some final injury reports to share. The most notable news is at the skill positions. The 49ers ruled out wide receiver Marquise Goodwin with a shoulder injury, while the Rams have ruled out Todd Gurley with a knee injury.
Goodwin sat out all week with a calf injury, and he will join Dante Pettis on the sideline this weekend. The 49ers promoted Steven Dunbar to the 53-man roster earlier this week, and might need promote another receiver to the roster to fill out the depth chart. In the meantime, Kendrick Bourne will start at one side, and some combination of Dunbar, Trent Taylor, and Richie James.
This marks the second straight week Gurley will be absent. The Rams are already in the playoffs, but need a win or Bears loss to clinch the No. 2 seed and the accompanying first round bye. Last week, C.J. Anderson started in place of Gurley and bulldozed the Cardinals for 167 yards on 20 carries. Jon Kelly rushed ten times for 40 yards.
