Golden Nuggets: Sammy Watkins anyone

I really had fun reading Grant Cohn ‘s article with all of those size and speed requirements, I began to think he might double as Baalke. Who cares if the guy can play football as long as he has perfect measurables.

It is sad to think Hyde may be gone in a few weeks but NFL does stand for not for long. I still think he has a good NFL career ahead of him wherever he ends up. We probably won’t need him if we draft Saquon Barkley though.

It looks like there is a good chance the Rams won’t franchise Sammy Watkins. I couldn’t help but look up his market value on Spotrac and they have him signing a three year contract at 5.9 million APY. That sounds pretty affordable. I wonder if he would like to play with Jimmy Garoppolo? Barkley and Watkins might be a pretty good haul, throw in Malcolm Butler and Andrew Norwell. I like whatever it is that we are smoking. I haven’t had pipe dreams like this in at least thirty years.
