Jed York gives statement on TO’s induction into Hall of Fame

He may not be going in as a Niner, but he at least got the respect of their owner

The 2018 Hall of Fame inductees have been announced and former 49ers wide receiver Terrell Owens was among those to be inducted. After it was made official, 49ers owner Jed York released a statement you can read below:

“Terrell Owens gave our organization eight great seasons of service and some terrific memories that will live on in 49ers lore. He is one of the most accomplished wide receivers in the history of the NFL, and very deserving of this selection to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The 49ers organization would like to congratulate him for this great honor.”

Unfortunately, the other finalist familiar to the 49ers, current general manager John Lynch, was not among those selected.

In any case, T.O. has the support of the 49ers organization for this big day, even if he won’t be putting on the red and gold when he’s inducted.
