Patriots-Eagles to close it all out!

The big game is here! Super Bowl 52 kicks off at 3:30 p.m. PT, officially wrapping up the 2017 season. The San Francisco 49ers season was a wrap a month ago, and we are all ready to move on to 2018 and Jimmy Garoppolo. The 49ers have a lot of work to do this offseason, but the sooner this game gets done, the sooner we get to the next step!

The New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles are squaring off for the Lombardi Trophy at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN. The game will air on NBC with Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth in the booth, and Michele Tafoya on the sideline.

The Patriots are a 4.5-point favorite after the line opened at six points. They are looking for their sixth Lombardi Trophy, which would match the Pittsburgh Steelers for most all time. Tom Brady is looking to take home his fifth Super Bowl MVP award. Meanwhile, the Eagles really have nothing to lose. They have been underdogs ever since losing Carson Wentz to a torn ACL, even with homefield advantage the past two playoff games. Can the magic continue?

I'm hoping for a good game, but we'll see what it all brings. This will serve as our Super Bowl open thread. We'll see how busy it gets before opening up a new thread.
