It’s an extremely quiet day when the biggest news of the day is that the 49ers are meeting with a CB who has been healthy for six games of the past two seasons, never played college football, and most people haven’t heard of.
Delvin Breaux’s unconventional path to the NFL is a great story, but his upcoming meeting with the 49ers is somewhat less captivating. As previously mentioned, Breaux has largely been unable to stay on the field, missing more than half of the games of his NFL career due to injury, including two instances of a broken femur. Although he has the length desired by the coaching staff, in addition to respectable speed, his injury history should be enough to give most FOs some serious pause.
