The Oakland Raiders are set to add another free agent from the San Francisco 49ers. Defensive back Leon Hall appears set to join Tank Carradine in moving up the Bay to sign with the Oakland Raiders, according to Hall’s agent. Fooch’s Update: He has officially signed.
Great day in Oakland with long time client Leon Hall. 12 years. Great things ahead. @RAIDERS

Hall has been a solid veteran throughout his 11-year career, offering some versatility at both safety and cornerback. The 49ers signed him this past October, released him the next week, and then signed him for the final nine games of the season. He finished the season with 209 defensive snaps and 52 special teams snaps.
Hall’s contract with the 49ers was for $1 million (he earned a prorated portion of that), which was the veteran minimum for a player with at least ten years experience. He likely will sign for something similar with the Raiders, which means this will likely have no impact on the comp pick formula.
Doing some quick research on this did reveal one new bit of information. Leon Hall’s full name is actually Leon Lastarza Lafayette Lorenzo Hall. That’s quite a name!
