New San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman celebrated his new contract earlier this month, but this week he celebrated something bigger. Sherman and his longtime girlfriend Ashley got married down in the Dominican Republic.
The event saw a reunion of the Legion of Boom, according to TMZ, and it also resulted in some fun video from the event. If you’re on Instagram, go to Brandon Browner’s account. If you click on his profile picture (after you’re logged in), you’ll be able to see pictures and video from the affair.
There’s a lot of video, but this one is probably my favorite. Sherman, his new wife, and I believe their son are on the dance floor having a good time. Sherman is showing off his moves, and while these aren’t exactly football moves, it’s good to see him moving around well given his Achilles rehab.
Sherman has said he should be good to go in May or June. The 49ers are giving Jimmie Ward practice time at cornerback in the offseason workout program in part because Sherman won’t be 100 percent by then. The start of training camp is the big date on this recovery timeline.
