Well that’s exciting. The 49ers won something of significance, a coin toss to decide who gets to pick number 10 and number 9. In this draft that number may be huge for a trade.
John Lynch says he’s willing to trade up (NELSON!! NELSON!!!) or trade down (PICKS PICKS PICKS) or stay put. So basically he’s willing to do exactly what anyone in his position would do. Which is anything.
In other news pertaining to the 49ers, the Rams traded Robert Quinn to the Miami Dolphins. When I first saw it, I thought something was done for Jarvis Landry, but Quinn is going to the Dolphins for draft picks. Any thoughts of him going to the 49ers is nonsense and you know it. Quinn was darn good player and there’s no way the Rams were going to let him go to a division rival. I doubt they would have released him even if they didn’t find a trade partner (which they would have).
Beyond that, enjoy the finalities of the combine, folks.
