In his pre-draft press conference, Denver Broncos general manager John Elway said he’s open to trading the 5th overall pick.
Here’s the exact quote today from Broncos’ GM John Elway, when asked whether Denver is open to dealing the fifth overall pick: “I’m open to trading.”@buffalobills @AZCardinals

The San Francisco 49ers certainly have some capital to move up from their current ninth pick in the draft if they identified someone they had to have, but who would you think is worth the trade? While the Broncos’ pick is for sale, teams like the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills, picking 11th and 12th respectively, would have to give up far more capital to get to No. 5 as opposed to the ninth pick the 49ers hold.
A move up to No. 5 would put the 49ers in position to draft guard Quenton Nelson, or maybe even defensive end Bradley Chubb.
So, the fifth pick. What do you give up for it? Who would you go get? Do you even do it?
