John Lynch: If Reuben Foster hit the woman, he will not be part of the 49ers

The 49ers GM continues with what he describes as a patient approach.

San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch met with the media for his official pre-draft press conference, and naturally, he had a chance to comment on Reuben Foster’s on-going legal situation.

Foster is currently facing a charge of felony domestic violence, along with two other felonies. Lynch said he is not at liberty to go into depth on the situation due to the ongoing legal process. He did say however that if these charges are proven true, and “if Reuben did indeed hit this young lady, he won’t be part of our organization going forward.”

Lynch said the team has been in communication with the league as they figure out a potential suspension and whether or not Foster will go on the Commissioner’s exempt list. Lynch But he does emphasized it is wise to be patient at this point and continue collecting information.
