After an eventful and exciting day, the chapter of Day One of the NFL Draft is finally closed creating a feverish mood of anticipation of what is yet to come for Day Two - the money rounds. The second day of the NFL Draft (rounds two and three) begins today at 7:00 p.m. (ET).
The 49ers have three picks today (as of now) including one in the second round (No. 59) and two in the third round (No. 70 and No. 74). Unfortunately, the 49ers do not have any compensatory picks this season, but keep in mind compensatory picks can be traded; therefore, look for the 49ers to be active climbing up or down in trades today.
Going into Day Two we can mark off offensive tackle as a position the team will likely bypass when looking at prospects today. Instead, we will take a look at some best available players potentially filling positions the 49ers’ roster needs addressing.
