The San Francisco 49ers announced the Trent Brown trade Friday afternoon, sending him and a fifth round pick to the New England Patriots for a third round pick. The 49ers now have three picks in the third round.
The 49ers could elect to trade up with their bevy of picks, but if not, their first pick of Friday will be at No. 57 overall. The 49ers have some decisions to make. If they really like somebody who slipped into the second round, they could use some of their third round picks to move up. But at the same time, that third round could be a huge make-or-break opportunity for the team.
Here is a full list of the 49ers picks heading into round 2.
