The NFL Draft is the culmination of years of hard work for the players selected last week. It is no surprise then when players are overcome with emotion after they get the phone call from their new team.
New San Francisco 49ers right tackle Mike McGlinchey got particularly emotional on draft day, and you can watch the whole thing in the video above, or here. It opens with him heading out to his draft party, with a host of family and friends on hand.
Eventually we get to the moment when he gets the call, and his excitement is something to behold. I highly recommend giving it a watch.
