Good morning! Well now that the Reuben Foster situation has gotten more insight, I figured I’d round up the next few dates that we know of in the San Francisco 49ers linebacker.
May 23rd: The judge makes her decision on if Reuben Foster will stand trial for felony domestic violence, forcefully attempting to prevent a victim from reporting a crime, and illegal weapon possession. The victim in the domestic violence case testified on Thursday putting a wrinkle into things. Remember, as Fooch pointed out, the burden of proof to stand trial is probable cause, which is lower than the “beyond reasonable doubt” standard for guilt or innocence. There is also the gun charge, which Fooch explains here.
June 20th: This is the court date regarding Reuben Foster’s marijuana possession charge in Alabama. In January, Foster was arrested for Marijuana possession in the state of Alabama. This is considered a Class A misdemeanor.
There’s plenty to read about for Foster’s day in court Thursday, so I won’t recap here. There are a few links you can check out on it though below.
