Jimmy Garoppolo takes Madden 19 pictures sans beard

NFL teams are in the midst of OTAs, and that is giving the folks at EA Sports a chance to take care of some business. Madden 19 will drop later this summer, and EA Sports was on hand at the San Francisco 49ers facility this week. They got a headscan of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo as he continues preparations for his first full season as the 49ers starter. Check out the photos below.

There is no word yet on who will grace the cover of the game. I don’t expect to see Jimmy G on the cover this year, but if things progress the way we hope, it seems inevitable he ends up the Madden cover boy.

We’ll see what happens in the future, but for this year’s version, it is worth noting he went for the clean-shaven look. Garoppolo has bounced back and forth with the beard, but he will not have it in this year’s version of Madden. Maybe in a create-a-player function you can get the beard worked in for your Jimmy G look-alike!
