The team went with the 1994 look, and I’m liking it.

The San Francisco 49ers unveiled their new throwback alternate uniforms Wednesday evening, and I’m really liking them. The team switched from a black alternate to a version of their 1994 road white uniforms as their alternate third uniform for 2018.

The team sent out ten photos last night, featuring some current players wearing their new look and then some jerseys of previous players that would have worn them. You can also view 23 pictures in this 49ers.com photo gallery. The uniform features white jerseys and pants, the iconic drop shadow number, three stripe sleeve, black and red pant stripes, and a throwback oval decal on the side of helmet and throwback wordmark on front bumper of helmet.

The new look is officially on sale if you’re looking to get a new jersey. The team will wear them for one of their eight home games this season, but did not announce which one. It would not surprise me if they wore them in Week 7 (October 21st) against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football.
