So Reuben Foster only has a gun charge reduced to a misdemeanor and that’s it? At the beginning of the week he was looking at felony charges for domestic violence, and a case in Alabama over possession of Marijuana.
I’d say he had a pretty good week. Good luck playing 16 games though. Now that he’s (almost) finished with the judges, he now has to go deal with the commissioner, Roger Goodell. There’s no way with a violation for possession marijuana, among other things, Foster isn’t suspended. Now, with everything getting dismissed he’s definitely dodged some significant suspension time a’la Aldon Smith, but don’t go thinking that he’s going to play all 16 games, the NFL will have something else in mind. The good news is that this suspension is nothing more than predictable and will no longer be crippling.
