The San Francisco 49ers are happy with their wide receiver depth chart, and are not expected to pursue wide receiver Dez Bryant. NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero said on Tuesday that John Lynch respects Bryant from his days broadcasting Cowboys games on FOX, but is excited about the group they currently have.
Don‘t hold your breath on Dez Bryant joining the team he (apparently?) wants. Never say never, but #49ers really like their WR group, unlikely to go down that road for now. @nflnetwork pic.twitter.com/71Vr5szWo5

This comes following word that the Seattle Seahawks are expected to add an aging Brandon Marshall to a wide receiver corps that doesn’t have much going beyond Doug Baldwin. Marshall could earn a roster spot, but with what sounds like primarily an incentive-based contract, expectations are not high in the Emerald City. Any impact from his signing might be more about shuffling the veteran receiver market than what Marshall himself does for the Seahawks.
Monday afternoon, I posted a Twitter poll asking if people thought the 49ers should sign Dez Bryant. Feel free to drop in your vote (no need to have a Twitter account to vote).
Should the 49ers sign Dez? https://t.co/WsvcI4EG7t
