Golden Nuggets: 49ers opening new fitness center

The 49ers are expanding their business ventures into the fitness industry. The 49ers are opening a fitness center named 49ers Fit in San Jose. The center will be located at the Westgate Center Outlet Mall and it will include 49ers themed equipment. The equipment and recovery treatments will include some of the same used by the 49ers players. The training programs will include programs developed by the 49ers strength and training staff.

The new fitness center, which is being developed with 24 Hours Fitness’ founder Mark Mastrov, will include a turf area, areas for strength/cardio, personal training, and group classes such as yoga and boxing. They will also include recovery methods such as hydromassage and cryotherapy. Also included will be saunas, steam rooms, and a team store. The center is expected to one of the top gyms in terms of state of the art equipment and techniques.
