Who isn’t ready for football to start? I know I sure as heck am. Being that there’s literally nothing to talk about on a Saturday (get used to it) I figured I’d talk about something else:
What’s everyone watching on Netflix? Rather what is everyone binge-watching in general? I’ve taken the challenge of trying to watch every episode of The Simpsons from Season 1 up to current. Believe me, this is not as easy as it sounds. The Simpsons has 28 seasons so far and I’m only on Season 4. It’s definitely nostalgic, and that will wear off by the ninth season as I stopped watching around then, but it’s also depressing since the show has dropped in quality as the seasons wear on—so I know where this is unfortunately going.
The one good thing is Lisa’s favorite team is the 49ers. In an episode she tells Homer to put money on them because “They are the purest of heart.”
This means Lisa Simpson is my new favorite character.
I would start watching Game of Thrones, but I’ve only read the first book. I know, I know, it veers off from the novels in later seasons, but I’m one of those guys who has to read the books before I watch anything based on it. So I still have only seen one episode of GoT.
