The NFL online store announced the highest selling jerseys for April to mid-June of 2018, and it is no surprise that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is on the list. Garoppolo is second, behind New York Giants rookie running back Saquon Barkley. 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman is 24th on the list.
Barring a disastrous turn this fall, it’s safe to say Garoppolo will be a regular in these top merchandise sales lists. The NFLPA releases a quarterly version of it for all merchandise sold through their merchandising arm. I’d be stunned if he does not make a top 25 appearance in that as well.
The top five is rounded out by Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield. It is interesting to note that Eagles quarterback Nick Foles shows up at No. 6. I don’t think Eagles fans will ever regret buying a Foles jersey this offseason, but it’s amusing nonetheless.
No word on if Jalen Ramsey has bought a Jimmy G jersey yet.
