Get excited about Richard Sherman’s workouts!

Things are pretty quiet as players enjoy their last few weeks before the start of training camp. While most are likely getting in some quality family time, plenty are getting in their last personal workouts so they’re ready to go for the start of training camp.

Richard Sherman is working with a pair of trainers, Tracy Ford and Rischad Whitfield. He’s working on a variety of things, but given his Achilles injury, it’s nice seeing him move around as he is in these videos. This does not mean that when the season starts he will be back to where he was pre-injury, but it at least looks good for the time being.

The 49ers report to camp on July 25th, at which point players will undergo physicals and conditioning tests. At that point, the team will decide which players need to open camp on the Physically Unable to Perform and Non-Football Injury lists. Sherman really seems to be making the necessary strides to be ready for the start of training camp, but we likely won’t know for sure until see what the first formal day of practice brings.
