Fooch’s update: We added a live stream from the start of practice above. If you don’t see it, click here.
The San Francisco 49ers had their first day off from practice on Monday, and they return to practice on Tuesday for their next set of four days. The collective bargaining agreement requires a day off after four days of practice. The 49ers will practice Tuesday through Friday, have Saturday off, and then have three open practices and one closed day leading up to their preseason opener against the Dallas Cowboys.
Practice gets going at 10:15 a.m. PT, and the team is welcoming back five players from the injury lists. Three other players will miss practice, shaking up the depth chart a bit. The session will be followed by a Kyle Shanahan press conference and then player availability. The 49ers will stream the press conferences on their website, and you can also watch it on Periscope and the team’s app.
The 49ers beat writers will also have updates from the media sessions. I’ve embedded our beat writer Twitter list so you can follow along. Jennifer Chan will be on hand to offer updates during and after practice. You can follower her and Tracy Sandler for updates.
