Just like that Eli Harold is gone, traded for a conditional seventh round pick. I wish the man well. I would love to say I will miss him but I hardly knew he was here most of the time. Hopefully things will be better for him in Detroit. What I am really hoping for is his replacement to get a sack now and then. We love the sac over here in Sackramento.
I know most people are excited to see our starters on offense playing for a full half this week but I am more excited about seeing Richard Sherman alongside Ahkello Witherspoon. It will be even better if Fred Warner starts beside Reuben Foster. Even better yet would be if Solomon Thomas, Deforest Buckner, and Arik Armstead also play. Maybe our starters on defense can begin to gel if we can get all of them on the field together at the same time?
Did I just include Fred Warner as a starter? I guess I did. Who knows, maybe I will include DJ Reed too?
