The San Francisco 49ers were back at practice on Monday, and I was on hand with a photographer credential for the festivities. I’ve put together a gallery of 100 photos, which you can view above.
The practice was open to fans, with ticket sales supporting the 49ers Foundation. The Foundation provides support to schools and the local community. Practice opened with rookie Coleman Shelton serving as the day’s hype man. He got the the crowd going with a “Jimmy! Jimmy! Jimmy!” chant.
I love the opportunity to capture the moment of acrobatic catches and the one on one battles, some of which you can see above. The players seem plenty psyched to play this Thursday. They’ve been practicing for two weeks, and while that is critical in roster evaluations, the players are ready to start facing different opponents.
