Fooch’s update: Thursday’s action is a wrap, but we’ll continue using this thread through Friday and Saturday’s preseason games.
The San Francisco 49ers kick off their preseason schedule Thursday evening at 7 p.m. PT against the Dallas Cowboys, but it is a nearly full day of NFL action. 24 of the 32 NFL teams will be playing with all but the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens taking the field for the first time in the preseason. Those two got things started a week ago in the Hall of Fame Game, with the Ravens getting the victory.
The 49ers and Cowboys will be airing on NFL network, following the network’s broadcast of the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants. No other games will be airing nationally this week. Next week we get more national games, although the 49ers will not be one of them the next three weeks.
Here’s the full schedule for this week, with a note for the games that will be on NFL Network live. NFL Network re-airs all the games so check out the NFL Network’s schedule to see which games will be shown on what day and time.
