The NFL returns on Thursday evening with an NFC North matchup to kickoff Week 2. The Cincinnati Bengals host the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football, in a matchup of two quarterbacks (Andy Dalton, Joe Flacco) that are, well, questionable at best.
It’s time once again for our pick ‘em and Survivor pool contest options. We have the weekly prediction contest this season, and you can make those picks here. Last week I took the Baltimore Ravens in my money Survivor pool. A lot of people took the New Orleans Saints and were knocked off by that one. This week, I have a feeling some folks are going to take our 49ers at home against the Lions. The 49ers can win this game, but with various injuries and question marks, I’m not sure I’m comfortable taking them in Survivor. I’m leaning towards either Washington at home against Indianapolis or Denver at home against Oakland.
Tonight, Week 2 opens with the Bengals and Ravens squaring off for early AFC North supremacy. The line is hovering around pick ‘em, with some sportsbooks going Ravens -1, and some going Bengals -1. Both teams won last week, but I think the Ravens are a little over-inflated by their beatdown of a bad Bills team. This is going to be a close game, but I think the Bengals are going to get the victory and cover.
