Fooch’s update: The Lions released their official Thursday practice participation report
DNP: OT Andrew Donnal (knee), OG T.J. Lang (back)
Limited: DE Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder)
Full: RB LeGarrette Blount (shoulder), QB Matthew Stafford (shin)
The San Francisco 49ers do not return to practice until 1:50 p.m. PT, but in the meantime, the Detroit Lions have begun their Thursday practice session. They will issue a formal practice participation report in a couple hours, but media on hand provided some important updates.
No T.J. Lang (back) at practice again today.

Ziggy (shoulder) was out there but no shoulder pads and wasn’t doing a ton, mostly sprints/cardio.
Safe to say the #Lions could really use both vs. 49ers but may want to start planning without at least Lang.
Guard T.J. Lang remains sidelined with a back injury. He suffered it at the end of the Lions MNF loss to the Jets, and his status for Sunday seems questionable at best. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was listed as doubtful on Friday’s final injury report, or simply ruled out If Lang is unavailable, that opens up a big opportunity against the interior of an already shaky Lions offensive line. DeForest Buckner and Arik Armstead had a strong performance last week against Minnesota, and could be in line for another big opportunity.
Ezekiel Ansah is still limited with a shoulder injury suffered on Monday. He was doing cardio work on the side, and I have a feeling will be listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report. It’s safe to say his absence would be huge for the Lions pass rush.
