Seahawks-Bears closes out the week with Monday Night Football

The NFL closes out Week 2 with an intriguing Monday Night Football matchup. The Chicago Bears host the Dallas Cowboys, with kickoff set for 5:15 p.m. PT on ESPN. Joe Tessitore and Jason Witten will call the game from the booth, with Booger McFarland serving as an analyst from the field. Lisa Salters continues her duties as the sideline reporter.

Both teams are 0-1, which means the loser of this game would fall into the 0-2 stat regarding difficulty in subsequently making the playoffs. It’s not the best measurement, but it is particularly notable for the Seahawks as far as I’m concerned!

The Bears are a 4.5 point favorite, and I am leaning the Bears. Seattle will be without wide receiver Doug Baldwin and linebackers K.J. Wright and Bobby Wagner. I don’t know how the Seahawks offensive line is going to stand up to the Bears ferocious defensive front. Khalil Mack has a chance to have a monster game. If Seattle wins this game, it will be because of errors by Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. If Trubisky can avoid stupid mistakes, the Bears should win this game with relative ease.
