Does Tanking in the NFL ever really work?

I totally get the talk of tanking post-Jimy GQ.

And sadly, tanking has proven to totally work in MLB.

For example, the three most recent World Series winners all tanked: The Houston Astros, Chicago Cubs, and KC Royals tanked for years.

But has anyone in the NFL truly tanked and won the Super Bowl?

Last several winners, The Eagles, Patriots, Broncos, and Seahawks - not really. I mean, just look at The Browns who have piled #1's like crazy.

So I say let's line up behind CJ ( he did throw for 1, 430 yards in 2017 while getting sacked repeatedly), disregard any thoughts of tanking and shoot for a wild card spot. Let's consider grabbing Nick Foles out of Philly because he is now expendable or some other wise choice at the QB slot in case CJ goes down again.
