The San Francisco 49ers return to practice on Wednesday, beginning preparations for their Week 4 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers. More importantly, it is their first practice since Jimmy Garoppolo tore his ACL on Sunday. The team announced on Wednesdat that they have moved Garoppolo to injured reserve, and promoted Nick Mullens to the 53-man roster.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan will meet with the media at 12:25 p.m. and he will be followed by new starting quarterback C.J. Beathard. The locker room will be open after that, and then the team hits the practice field at 1:25 p.m.
