The San Francisco 49ers put together their practice squad on Sunday with a spot or two left to fill. While they were doing that, I was putting together my fantasy team. El Pato’s Birds and Bees has had some rough times. After taking out the Notorious Baby Seal Club, they took me to the championship but lost to Pete’s Chewed Gum thanks to Travis Kelce getting concussed and Kareem Hunt getting more carries than he should legally have. I am still salty.
But not now. The Birds and Bees have reformed and oh my, it’s amazing. I don’t know what some people were thinking, but Antonio Brown fell to me with the ninth pick. Even more shattering is how with pick 12, DeAndre Hopkins was still there. My running backs are atrocious, but with Aaron Rodgers and the returning Travis Kelce, the Birds and Bees are poised to finally take me to a championship. Go team go.
How’d everyone else make out? Most of us have already had our drafts now so was there any craziness in your draft rooms? I know ours had our own chaos (again, how does Brown fall to me with the ninth pick? I don’t deserve that!)
