The San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Chargers announced their Week 4 inactives, and as expected, running backs Matt Breida and Alfred Morris will play. Both were listed as questionable, but they made it through pre-game workouts and are good to go.
The 49ers will have safety Antone Exum, a day after he was added to the injury list as questionable with a quadricep injury. Had he not played, Tyvis Powell likely would have started at strong safety. With Adrian Colbert active after a hip injury last week, the 49ers will have Exum and Colbert at the safety positions, and Jimmie Ward and Ahkello Witherspoon at the cornerback positions.
