Football’s back! The San Francisco 49ers kick off the 2018 regular season with a tough road game against the Minnesota Vikings. The game kicks off at 10 a.m. PT on FOX, with Kevin Burkhardt and Charles Davis in the booth, and Pam Oliver on the sideline.
Burkhardt, Davis, and Oliver are the No. 2 team at FOX, and this week that means the game gets a sizable audience. Well, big in terms of geography, not quite as big in terms of population outside of California. As we have done in years past, we’re back to run down just where this game will be broadcast in America and around the world. The folks at 506sports.com post weekly broadcast maps showing where each game will play everywhere in the United States. Here’s a look at where the 49ers-Vikings game will be broadcast.
1. The entire west coast + Alaska
2. Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona (all but a sliver), Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Michigan
3. Ohio (all but Cleveland market)
4. Indiana (all but Indianapolis market)
5. Louisville, KY market
6. Richmond, VA market
We try and find international viewing options as well, but some of our resources have disappeared. If you live abroad, let us know in the comments if the game is showing in your part of the world.
United Kingdom: SkySports, NFL Game Pass (per NFL UK).
Armed Forces Network-Europe: Prime Atlantic, although I’m not 100 percent certain
Canada: Not on TSN
