49ers sign 6 players to reserve/future contracts

The offseason roster maneuvering is officially underway.

The 2018 season concluded a mere two days ago, but we already have the first transactions to start filling in the back end of the San Francisco 49ers 90-man offseason roster. The team signed six players to reserve/future contracts on Monday. An announcement will come later this month, but the NFL’s official transaction wire listed the signings for Monday.

These contracts usually do not include any guaranteed money, but instead are placeholder contracts for the offseason workout program and training camp. Reserve/future contracts are used for players who were not on a 53-man roster at the end of the previous season, and primarily are used on recent practice squad players.

The players signed include the following:

OT Christian DiLauro
TE Marcus Lucas
CB Tarvarus McFadden

Here is a rundown of the players signed including any NFL experience, and their respective college experience.
