49ers GM John Lynch had exciting new regarding Jimmy Garoppolo’s rehab. Just months after surgery, Jimmy was out throwing passes to Jerick McKinnon, who was also rehabbing from a torn ACL. Having those two guys participating in any football activities is a welcome sign to the 49ers. It’s doubtful that Jimmy was moving around much when he was throwing, but just him going through the motions is an important step in his rehab. Hopefully both players will be a full go for the offseason program

Kyle Shanahan and his coaching staff are down in Mobile, Alabama for the Senior Bowl. It will give them valuable time to work out draft prospects before they have to select in the draft in April. His 2 new coaching hires, Joe Woods and Kris Kocurek, were given the opportunity to miss the Senior Bowl. Both are experienced coaches, so Kyle is giving his younger coaches the opportunity to work with the draft prospects to give them much needed experience.
