Here’s a nice video paying homage to the 2018 Seahawks

I’ve never seen a video obituary for a football team, but there’s a first time for everything.

You know, I woke up this morning and said I’m going to keep my mouth shut about this Seattle Seahawk loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Because, as a fan of the San Francisco 49ers, I don’t have a dog in that fight. I also consider the writers at Field Gulls as my friends. As you know, I live in Seattle, Washington and since I’m in the heart of the fanbase, I should just go on with my day. I mean, I got my own set of problems. I’ve got my own share of trouble, especially through this weekend.

But I just can’t help myself.

Today, while I was monitoring Niners Nation’s Twitter, there was a mention from Kyle Breitkreutz with a video that he made. Sure all sorts of videos are going to be made the day after and I didn’t think much on it besides being another variation of that botched onside dropkick.

Unfortunately, this isn’t a highlight video, or a gif, or anything else. It’s an obituary. An obituary to the 2018 Seattle Seahawks. The music makes me mourn the loss of the 2018 team, and when you’re done...you really feel something.

If that just isn’t the sweetest montage and tribute I’ve seen this year. Any of you guys got something in your eye? I sure do. This kinda thing is flat-out classy. And for that generosity, he deserves to have a spot here on the front page.

OK. I admit, I’m poking the bear pretty sharply and the 4-12 49ers were long out of anything important when the Seahawks claimed a playoff spot. But considering that A: the Seahawks exited with...well...whatever that was last night and B: they are one of the four teams to lose to the 49ers (which also include The Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, and Detroit Lions) and get to carry such a loss into the offseason.

But this video. So funny.
