The San Francisco 49ers beat Washington 9-0 this past Sunday. The shutout by the defense and performance by rookie edge rusher Nick Bosa earned him a Pepsi Rookie of the Week award nomination. Bosa also had a team-high seven tackles on the afternoon. Four of those seven tackles went for a loss. Bosa finished the afternoon with four stops but didn’t have any hits or hurries due to only rushing the passer 15 times Sunday.

Other nominees include Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew, Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs, Los Angeles Chargers safety Roderic Teamer, and Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons. Minshew has won this award four times already this season. The last time was Week 5, which happened to be the first and only time Bosa was nominated.

If you want to vote for Bosa, you can do that here. You can vote for the 49ers rookie through Friday.
